Prior to joining the Faculty in 2012, Clement Kojo Akapame was engaged in
public policy governance and commercial practice. After completing a degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Laws post-first degree at the University of Ghana, Clement was awarded a Master of Laws degree with concentrations in Global Constitutionalism and International Finance from The University of Michigan Law School, Ann Abhor.
Clement worked also as counsel-researcher at the Constitution Review Commission where he advised on the review of the 1992 Constitution of Ghana focusing on decentralization, local government and national security.
At the Faculty of Law, GIMPA he lectures in commercial law. His research interests are in banking procedure and practice and comparative natural resource and commodities governance.
